ETCHING
Lines are drawn through wax onto copper, etched in acid, then filled with ink which is transferred onto paper through the pressure of the printing press. In contrast to the chemical process of lithography, etching is a direct physical transfer of ink from a sculptural surface.
The coloured prints are overprinted with lino and simultaneous viscosity printing techiques to give a rich decorative surface.
